I am grateful that spring is gently edging winter to the side. Winter has been tough; my day job contract ended, but on the plus side, that means I am a full-time author now. The universe has a way of working things out, and some amazing things have happened!

But her “ordinary” life now involves working alongside a ragtag band of semi-retired gods and witches who have made Glasgow their unlikely home: Seth, the Egyptian god of mischief, runs a bar on Argyle Street; Linn, the Chinese god of wealth, owns a restaurant; Eros operates a chaotic sex shop; and Agatha, a feminist witch, runs a brothel where no sex takes place but plenty of political secrets change hands.

After previously defeating an evolved human known as Mother—who had been preparing Earth for the return of the alien Anunnaki—the group had hoped for a quiet retirement. Instead, the Government’s classified data on every supernatural being is handed to an unscrupulous tech billionaire, Ben Delaney. His chief scientist, Shirley, kidnaps the Queen of the Elves to harvest her powers.
