Hello from Scotland,

A year on from the publication of my debut novel. Wow, what a year. It's been a rollercoaster year, to say the least. I published two novels and reached #1 on Amazon rankings for both. I have published two perma-free offerings: a prequel to Discovery and a collection of short stories, both reaching the top 10 on Amazon. I have learned a lot about improving my writing and growing as an indie author. Thank you to everyone who has reviewed and provided feedback.

My third novel is on submission, which was my first request for a full manuscript after a query. It's very exciting. I have also received some incredibly helpful feedback from some agents. It's all a learning curve, and I'm getting better every day.

I have also begun the 4th Novel, continuing Cassie Bell's development from Glaswegian office worker to quite possibly the most powerful being on the planet. To say I'm looking forward to the next year is putting it mildly.

On a personal note, I wish to share a proud mum moment. My daughter was selected for the Scottish National Chess team for the Olympiad. I would recommend that everyone has a go. Even though I am not a great player, I do enjoy a game on my Dr Who chessboard.

However, Chess Scotland does not receive any funding. For the Olympiad, they have bought their flights themselves, but they still need to buy a kit and cover other costs. https://gofund.me/5e40d4be8​

Hello from Scotland, Disclosure is released on the 23rd of this month. It is full of fun and the usual mayhem as I get ready for the new release. New release humourous fantasy

Hello from Scotland, Summer is upon us, the big bad burny thing was in the sky fleetingly. I was out in it for a whole 2 hours, and I look like a red-and-white candy cane (one half burnt, the other translucent Scottish white). I stayed up way past my bedtime to watch Scotland play in the World Cup for the first time in 28yrs. And we won...... In true Scottish fashion, I am now overly optimistic that we'll absolutley now win the World Cup. In more wonderful positive news: Drumroll............
